Offer their professional services to the community free of charge at LASSA. Clients have to book their appointments through a Settlement Worker at LASSA.

 

·         Library Settlement Partnership:

Library Settlement Partnership is a partnership between the libraries and the settlement providing agencies that was initiated in order to assist newcomers in accessing services at different convenient locations of the public libraries. The LSP in Ottawa consists of the following sectoral partners: Conseil Economique and Social d’Ottawa – Carleton (CESOC), Lebanese and Arab Social Services Agency of Ottawa (LASSA), Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre (OCCSC), Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization (OCISO), Somali Centre for Family Services (SCFS) as well as the Ottawa Public Library and Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
